CREDIT STUDENTS: Do NOT need to make a reservation:
PLAN TO DEPART PORTSMOUTH AT 1:25 PM on the 1st MONDAY of a course.
PLAN TO RETURN PORTSMOUTH, NH BY 12:00 PM on last day of a course.

The SHOALS MARINE LABORATORY DOCK IS LOCATED IN PORTSMOUTH, NH:
From Interstate 95 take exit 7 (close to the ME/NH border). Turn right at the bottom of the exit ramp (turn left if coming from the north) towards Portsmouth. Continue on Market Street for approximately 3/4 mile (past the USS Albacore). The dock is on the left across from the Sheraton Portsmouth Hotel.

PARKING** IS NOT AVAILABLE AT THE SHOALS MARINE LABORATORY DOCK!
PLEASE ALLOW ADEQUATE TIME TO PARK YOUR VEHICLE! LOOK FOR AN SML STAFF MEMBER AT THE DOCK WHEN YOU ARRIVE, AND THEY CAN ASSIST YOU WITH PARKING INSTRUCTIONS. If you are a participant in an SML program (credit course, internship, adult and family education participant) shuttle service is provided to and from the NH Park and Ride lot on the first and last day of the program. ALL OTHERS must make their own parking arrangements. Academic teaching staff should contact the SML Coastal Coordinator at the Creek Farm office for assistance:
