All are welcome! Our Adult and Family Education programs offer participants a chance to learn about marine topics in a relaxed, and beautiful setting.

Our Adult and Family Education programs are "all inclusive!" Program fees include room, board, all field trips, and transportation to and from Appledore Island. There are NO prerequisites for Adult and Family Education programs; however, because
of course content and the rugged nature of Appledore's environment,
enrollment is limited to adults and children 12 years of age or
older (must be accompanied by and adult). The course fee includes room, board, field trips,
and round-trip transportation from Portsmouth, NH. All participants
will travel aboard an SML vessel on the first and last day of each
program. More information regarding parking, directions to Portsmouth,
schedules and accommodations in the seacoast area will be sent to
you after your registration is received.
