RESEARCH at SML section: Welcome!

SML invites faculty and graduate students to utilize the Isles of Shoals environment for their research. Visiting researchers are welcome to take advantage of the abundant intertidal flora and fauna and the resources offered by our on our island campus.

Please send Christine Bogdanowicz a research proposal 12 weeks prior to the start date of the project. The proposal may be mailed, faxed or sent electronically. Once a project is approved by SML Director Willy Bemis, the following information is required:

Copies of collecting permits relevant to expected research activities
Liability waiver and acceptance of Fees
(The liability waiver is not needed for Cornell and UNH researchers)
