Seabird Conservation Internships

Participants: 2 interns
APPLICATION DEADLINE: March 15, 2010. APPLY ON-LINE after Thanksgiving! 

Staff: SML Tern Restoration Project staff, Dan and Melissa Hayward.

Stipend: Each intern will receive room and board on White/Seavey Island. Includes two round trips between Portsmouth and Appledore. Interns are responsible for their own travel arrangements and transportation costs to and from Portsmouth, NH.

Prerequisites: Must have successfully completed either
FIELD ORNITHOLOGY or SEABIRD ECOLOGY and CONSERVATION at Shoals Marine Laboratory.

Spend time at Shoals Marine Laboratory working with the Tern Restoration Project team on White and Seavey Island, Isles of Shoals. Interns interested in continuing their seabird studies as a PROJECT PUFFIN intern should contact Audubon directly.
